Creating Your First Book

1. Go to My Books and choose to create a new book.
2. Give it a title and pick a genre — everything else can be added or changed later.
3. You'll land on the book's overview page, which becomes your home base for that story.

Title, cover, genre, status, description, word and chapter counts, and quick counts of your characters, locations, and plot points once you've added any. A "Continue Writing" button takes you to whichever chapter you edited most recently.

Every new book starts Private — visible only to you. You choose if and when to change that; see "Stories & Visibility" for the four levels and what each one actually does.
